Draft: this page must not be published

The data controller is missing. Who is responsible for data collected by Magistro Academy has not yet been decided between the partners.

Until that name is in place, points 6 and 8 remain uncovered. They tell readers to write to exercise their rights, but do not tell them whom to write to.

Whoever publishes must remove this box only after replacing the two red placeholders below.

In brief. Magistro Academy teaches you how to use artificial intelligence in your business. This page explains four things: where AI can be used, what you should never write to it, what you check before publishing, and what happens to your data.

1. What AI does in this course

Magistro Academy is an online course for Italian local business owners. In every module, artificial intelligence acts as an accelerator. It writes a draft post, prepares a review response, and puts the numbers you keep an eye on in order.

The course does not replace your professional skills: it amplifies them.

The boundary rule

AI helps you do your job and communicate with your customers.

It does not build or maintain for you what the network produces and sells: the website, the Google listing, the campaigns. That remains the work of a consultant, and the course does not teach you to do without one.

The information in the course does not come from a model's memory: we checked it against public sources in 2026. Every prompt we ask you to paste has been tested by hand before appearing on the page.

2. The tools mentioned in the course

In the course, we mention and recommend tools from other companies. Each has its own privacy notice and terms of use. Read them before pasting anything into them.

The tools mentioned change over time. When one of them changes its terms or closes down, we update the course prompt library and indicate the closest alternative, normally a free one.

3. What you should never write to an artificial intelligence tool

General rule. Anything you write in someone else's tool may end up on the servers of whoever operates it, and may be used to train models. This applies unless you have turned off the option in the settings. Never write:
  • Customers' personal data. First names, surnames, email addresses, telephone numbers, home addresses.
  • Health data. Diagnoses, treatments, reports, medical history, anything covered by professional confidentiality.
  • A person's judicial or tax data. Italian tax code, details of proceedings, social security contribution status.
  • Credentials. Credit cards, IBANs, passwords, program access keys.
  • Business secrets. Confidential contracts, non-disclosure agreements, non-public price lists, your source code.

When the course asks you to describe your business to the model, use general information: «I am a hairdresser in Roma, specialising in men's cuts». Never use data that identifies a real customer.

4. Where AI can be used, and where it cannot

Used badly, AI puts you at odds with the Italian Consumer Code and with your profession's code of conduct. It also puts you at odds with the authority that oversees misleading advertising (AGCM). Before that, it makes you lose your customers' trust. These are the rules we follow and teach.

Not allowed.
  • No website, Google listing or campaign built or kept running by AI in place of a consultant. They are the work that the network produces and sells.
  • No medical, legal or tax advice written by AI and sent to the customer without the involvement of a qualified professional.
  • No fake review, invented testimonial or customer story that does not exist. It is an unfair commercial practice (Article 20 and following of the Italian Consumer Code).
  • No generated image of premises, dishes, people or scenes that do not exist, published on the Google listing, social media or website.
  • No use of AI to imitate a competitor's voice, face or writing style.
Allowed and recommended.
  • Editing real photos: removing the background, increasing the resolution, correcting the lighting in photos you actually took yourself.
  • Draft texts for posts, review responses, customer emails and product descriptions. You choose the version that is published.
  • Reading the public data of your business, on Google and Meta, to turn it into an understandable report.
  • Ideas for the content plan, newsletters and seasonal promotions, to then put into your own voice.

5. Human review required

Course principle: you reread every AI result before publishing it or sending it to a customer. AI is an assistant, not your judgment.

In every lesson that contains a prompt to paste, you will find the «Do more with AI» box. It contains the list of checks:

  • The facts. Has the model made up a fact?
  • The tone. Do you really speak like this?
  • The rules of your profession. Are you promising something prohibited, such as a «cure»?
  • Readability. Can it be read? Are there emojis that nobody understands?

If the result concerns health, law or tax, the course asks you to have it reviewed by a qualified professional before publishing it.

6. Your student data

Magistro Academy collects only what is needed for you to take the course: name, email and lesson progress. The course is free and there are no payments to manage. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.

  • Access. Email and password, stored on our servers with the password encrypted (bcrypt).
  • Service emails. Address verification and password reset, sent by an email provider.

The European regulation on personal data (GDPR), in Articles 15-22, gives you six rights over your data:

  • access the data we have;
  • have it corrected;
  • have it deleted;
  • take it elsewhere;
  • restrict its use;
  • object to processing.

To exercise them, write to the data controller, which is [[ TO BE DECIDED: data controller ]]. We will reply within thirty days.

Important. The prompts you run using other companies' tools, such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude, do not pass through Magistro Academy servers. They are governed by the privacy notice of the tool you are using.

7. When we update this page

We update this page when one of these three things happens:

  • The terms of the tools mentioned in the course change.
  • A new use of AI appears that is relevant to a local business.
  • The European Union or the Italian legislature introduces new rules, for example the European regulation on artificial intelligence (AI Act).

Last updated: 31 July 2026. We communicate important changes to registered users by email.

8. Who is responsible
